There was a man named Jon. Jon had a wife named Wendy. Jon was a dreamer. Wendy was a realist. Jon worked hard in someone else’s Honda Repair Shop. Wendy worked hard as a Nurse.
One day Jon dreamed of opening his own repair shop. Wendy was skeptical. Jon pleaded his case. Wendy agreed under the following conditions; Honesty comes FIRST, We will not cheat our customers, Women will feel comfortable, we will take care of our customers like they are our
family.
In June 2002, Select Import Auto Service, formerly Hondashop, opened its doors on South Blvd in Charlotte,
NC. There were 2 repair bays and the lobby and office were in the same
small room. After 9 months, the husband and wife run business took on
its first full-time employee.
There have been numerous additions and
modifications throughout our journey to accommodate our growth,
including a move up the street. We currently operate 9 repair bays,
have a clean professional lobby and staff 3 full-time employees. We look forward to providing Charlotte with a top quality dealership alternative for many years to come!
Jon is still the dreamer. Wendy is still the realist. But today,
together they run a successful business. A business that
continues to operate by the original conditions they agreed
upon back in 2002.
